Terms of Service

Last updated: April 24, 2026

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Kallima (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

The service

Kallima provides computational tools for antibody humanization, structure prediction, stability analysis, and related bioinformatics workflows. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • You must notify us immediately at security@kallima.bio if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • We recommend enabling multi-factor authentication (TOTP) to protect your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit sequences containing personally identifiable information (e.g., patient-derived sequences linked to identifiable individuals) without appropriate authorization.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our underlying models or pipeline implementations.
  • Exceed plan usage limits through automation, credential sharing, or other means intended to circumvent billing.
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Your data and IP

  • You retain full ownership of all sequences, results, and outputs generated through the Service.
  • By submitting sequences, you grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the Service to you.
  • We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your sequences or results.

Training data consent

We may use sequences and computed results from your jobs to improve our models. All identifying information (organization name, project names, user identity) is removed before any data is retained for this purpose.

  • Free plan: training data use is enabled by default. You can opt out at any time in Settings → Privacy.
  • Paid plans: training data use is disabled by default. You can opt in at any time in Settings → Privacy.
  • Revoking consent applies going forward only. Data already retained in our training corpus is not deleted — only new job data is excluded.
  • We do not sell or license your sequence data to third parties.

Billing and cancellation

  • Plans are billed monthly via Stripe at the rates shown on the pricing page.
  • Usage is counted by the number of humanization jobs submitted per calendar month. Unused job credits do not roll over.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused credits except where required by law.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Computational predictions (humanization scores, structure models, stability estimates) are provided for research and informational purposes only and do not constitute professional scientific or regulatory advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating and validating any outputs before use in experimental or clinical contexts.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kallima shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
